최근에는 음악, 군사학, 경제 등 다양한 분야로 교류가 확대되고 있다. 2025년에는 전남대 음악학과 학생들이 CSU 슈워브 음악대학에서 연수와 합동 연주회를 진행했고, CSU는 한국학연구소(KICS)를 설립해 전남대 등 한국 대학과의 협력을 제도화했다.

In 2025, CSU further institutionalized its commitment to Korean studies and bilateral cooperation with the launch of the Korean Institute at Columbus State (KICS). The institute supports not only academic exchanges but also workforce development and community engagement, reflecting the growing presence of Korean businesses in Georgia and the significant Korean diaspora in the region.
